Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $15.00 to $28.00 Hourly for 44 hours per week, Other Benefits, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Welder Trade Certification, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Maintenance/repair
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial
Area of Specialization: Truck repair, Machinery or equipment repair, Pressure vessels
Welding Techniques: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG), Flux core arc welding (FCAW), Brazing and soldering
Type of Machine Experience: Gas welding machines
Welding Positions: All positions
Materials: Stainless steel, Steel, iron and heavy metals, Aluminum alloys
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, Prepare jigs or set-ups for welding, Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices, Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, Welding helmet
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods
Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available
